Directions for Use

Take only as directed by your doctor or the label. For childhood diarrhoea, zinc is usually given once daily for 10 to 14 days, with the dose depending on the child's age, alongside oral rehydration solution and continued feeding. Shake the bottle and measure with the cup or spoon provided. Continue the full 10-14 days even after the diarrhoea stops, as this helps protect against further episodes.

Give alongside oral rehydration for diarrhoea. Zinc does not replace the fluids and salts a child loses. Seek medical care for blood in the stool, high fever, persistent vomiting or signs of dehydration. Zinc can occasionally cause nausea or vomiting if given on an empty stomach. Give with or after food. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Tell your doctor about other supplements or medicines. Store below 30°C.
