In children, zinc is widely recommended alongside oral rehydration to shorten and reduce the severity of diarrhoea, and to lower the chance of it returning. The easy-to-take syrup makes it simple to give the right dose to children, making Zincat OD a helpful supplement for supporting immunity, recovery from diarrhoea, and correcting zinc deficiency under a healthcare provider's guidance.

Active ingredient: elemental zinc (as zinc sulphate/zinc salt) per measured dose.

Directions for Use

Shake the bottle well before use. Give once daily using the measuring cup or spoon provided, at the dose advised by your doctor or pharmacist (dose depends on age and the reason for use). It can be given with or after food to reduce stomach upset. For diarrhoea in children, zinc is usually continued for 10-14 days alongside oral rehydration solution. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Taking too much zinc over time can interfere with copper and iron absorption, so use only as advised and avoid combining with other zinc products. Separate from iron and certain antibiotics by about 2 hours, as zinc can affect their absorption. May occasionally cause mild nausea or stomach upset, best reduced by giving with food. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Store below 25C and use within the period stated after opening.
