Tamsolin 0.4mg Capsules (10 pack) contain tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker prescribed for the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). Tamsulosin relaxes the muscle around the prostate and bladder neck, easing the weak stream, straining, dribbling and frequent night-time trips to the bathroom that trouble many men over 50. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 0.4mg capsule once daily, taken about 30 minutes after the same meal each day (commonly breakfast). Swallow whole; do not crush or chew the modified-release capsule. Symptoms improve over days to weeks. Keep taking it and attend prostate reviews as advised.

May cause dizziness, especially when standing up quickly or at treatment start. Rise slowly, and avoid driving until you know your response. Can cause retrograde (dry) ejaculation. Harmless but worth knowing. Tell your eye surgeon you take tamsulosin before any cataract surgery (floppy iris syndrome). Avoid combining with other alpha-blockers or strong blood pressure reduction.
