Directions for Use

Tasmi 40mg Tablets (14 pack) contain telmisartan 40mg, an angiotensin-receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to help protect the heart and blood vessels in people at high cardiovascular risk. Telmisartan works by blocking a hormone that tightens blood vessels, allowing them to relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure smoothly over a full 24 hours. Do not use in pregnancy. ARBs can harm the unborn baby; tell your doctor at once if you become or plan to become pregnant. May cause dizziness, especially at first or on standing. Rise slowly.
