Topamax 50 mg tablets contains Topiramate 50 mg which is used for Epilepsy/Seizures and preventive treatment of migraine. Topamax 50 mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Topamax 50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Topamax 50 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol. Topamax 50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease.
