    Overview
    Travocort Cream 10g from Bayer combines isoconazole nitrate 1%, a broad-spectrum antifungal, with diflucortolone valerate 0.1%, a corticosteroid. Made for fungal skin infections that are red, inflamed and intensely itchy. The antifungal clears the ringworm, athlete's foot or candida infection while the steroid rapidly settles the inflammation and itch, giving fast comfort in the first days of treatment. Ideal as a short starter treatment for inflamed fungal rashes in skin folds, groin and feet. Conditions that thrive in warm climates like Kenya's.

    Isoconazole nitrate 1% w/w and diflucortolone valerate 0.1% w/w cream.

    Directions for Use
    This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily, rubbing in gently. Use for a maximum of 2 weeks, then continue with a plain antifungal if needed. The steroid component is for short-term use only. Wash hands after applying. Keep affected areas clean and dry, and dry skin folds thoroughly after bathing.

    Do not use on viral skin conditions (e.g., herpes, chickenpox), tuberculous or syphilitic skin lesions, rosacea, or acne. Avoid the face unless directed, the eyes, and broken skin. Do not use under occlusive dressings or on large areas for prolonged periods. Steroid absorption can thin skin and cause stretch marks. Not for children under 2 except on medical advice.
