Triogood 20 is a prescription 'cardiac triple therapy' tablet that combines three medicines in one capsule - aspirin 75mg, clopidogrel 75mg and atorvastatin 20mg. It is prescribed for the long-term (secondary) prevention of heart attacks, strokes and other atherothrombotic events in adults who are already stabilised on these three medicines taken separately. Aspirin and clopidogrel are antiplatelets that keep the blood from forming dangerous clots, while atorvastatin is a statin that lowers 'bad' LDL cholesterol and helps protect the arteries. Combining them in a single daily capsule simplifies treatment and supports better adherence for patients managing established heart or vascular disease.

Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one capsule once daily, swallowed whole with water. It is usually taken at the same time each day and may be taken with food to reduce stomach upset. Do not stop taking it without medical advice, even if you feel well - stopping antiplatelet therapy suddenly can raise the risk of a clot. Keep all follow-up appointments so your doctor can monitor your cholesterol, liver function and for any signs of bleeding.

This is a prescription-only cardiovascular medicine and is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It increases the risk of bleeding - tell your doctor about any history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, or if you are taking other blood thinners (e.g. warfarin), anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs) or certain antidepressants.
