Tripride-2 Tablets (30 pack) combine three medicines for type 2 diabetes. Glimepiride 2mg, metformin and pioglitazone. In a single tablet for blood-sugar control that needs more than two agents. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually once daily with or immediately after a main meal (often breakfast), swallowed whole with water. Taking it with food lowers the risk of stomach upset and of blood sugar dropping too low. Do not skip meals. Keep to your diet, exercise and blood-sugar monitoring plan, and attend regular reviews of blood sugar, kidney and liver function.

Because it contains glimepiride, it can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia). Know the signs (shakiness, sweating, hunger, confusion) and carry a sugary snack; skipped meals, alcohol or extra exercise raise the risk. Pioglitazone can cause fluid retention. Report breathlessness, swelling or rapid weight gain, and is not used in active bladder cancer or heart failure. Stop and seek urgent care for vomiting with rapid breathing (rare lactic acidosis). Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on specialist advice. Store below 30°C.
