Vissane 2mg Tablets (28 pack) contain dienogest, a specialised progestogen prescribed for endometriosis. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your gynaecologist. One tablet daily, continuously without breaks, at the same time each day, with or without food. Start on the day advised by your doctor. Bleeding patterns commonly change (spotting, irregular or absent periods). This is expected. Do not stop without medical advice; benefits depend on continuous use. Use a non-hormonal contraceptive (condoms) as dienogest alone is not licensed for contraception.

Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active blood clots, current or past severe liver disease or liver tumours, hormone-dependent cancers, or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Report persistent heavy bleeding, depression symptoms, or signs of clots promptly. Bone density may be affected with very long use in young women. Your specialist will advise.
