Waxsol Ear Drops 10ml gently soften and disperse hardened ear wax, helping it clear naturally or making syringing easier and more comfortable. The active ingredient, docusate sodium 0.5%, penetrates and breaks up compacted wax that causes blocked ears, dulled hearing, itching and that frustrating underwater feeling. Used over just two nights before wax removal, Waxsol is a simple, effective first step for one of the most common ear complaints seen in pharmacies and clinics.

Directions for Use

Use for two consecutive nights before planned wax removal, or as a pharmacist advises. Tilt the head and fill the affected ear with drops without overflowing, ideally at bedtime; keep the head tilted for several minutes or plug loosely with cotton wool. Do not use for more than 2 consecutive nights. If the ear remains blocked, see a clinician for assessment and possible irrigation.

Do not use if the eardrum may be perforated, with ear discharge, pain or inflammation, or after recent ear surgery. See a doctor first. Mild tingling is normal; stop if irritation or pain develops. Do not insert cotton buds to dig wax. They compact it further. Ringing ears, sudden hearing loss or dizziness need medical review, not wax drops. For external ear use only.
