Zefcolin Syrup 100ml is a triple-action dry cough remedy combining dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant acting on the brain's cough centre, cetirizine, a long-acting antihistamine, and phenylephrine, a nasal decongestant, with soothing menthol. It relieves dry, tickly, non-productive coughs from post-nasal drip, allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis, laryngitis, sinusitis and coughs lingering after colds. Calming the cough while clearing congestion and damping the allergy behind it. A popular dry-cough syrup in pharmacies for day and night-time relief.

Per 5ml: dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg, cetirizine hydrochloride 5mg, racementhol 1.5mg.

Directions for Use

Adults: 10ml three to four times daily. Children 6-12 years: 5ml three to four times daily. Children 2-6 years: 2.5ml three to four times daily, on a doctor's or pharmacist's advice. Not recommended for infants. Measure with the cup provided. Do not exceed the stated dose, and see a doctor if the cough persists beyond 7 days or produces phlegm.

May cause drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Take care driving and avoid alcohol. Do not use with severe hypertension, heart rhythm problems or coronary artery disease (phenylephrine raises blood pressure), with MAOI antidepressants, or alongside other cough-cold or antihistamine products. Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding only when a doctor judges benefits outweigh risks. Not for a productive (wet) cough. Store below 30°C protected from light.
