Overview

Zeroderm Ointment 500g is a rich emollient ointment for very dry, rough, flaky and eczema-prone skin, in a generous family tub. Based on moisturising paraffins, it forms a protective layer that locks in moisture, relieves dryness, tightness and itching, and helps restore the skin barrier. It can be used as a leave-on moisturiser and as a soap substitute for washing.

Directions for Use

As a moisturiser, smooth a generous amount onto dry skin as often as needed, ideally after bathing while skin is still slightly damp. As a soap substitute, apply to wet or dry skin instead of soap, then rinse. Take from the tub hygienically with clean hands or a spatula. Reapply through the day for very dry skin.

For external use only. IMPORTANT: paraffin-based emollients are flammable. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings) in contact with the ointment can catch fire more easily, so keep away from naked flames, cigarettes and heat, and wash fabrics regularly (though washing may not fully remove the residue). Take from the tub hygienically to avoid contamination. For severe, weeping, infected or worsening skin, see a doctor. Discontinue if irritation develops.
