Directions for Use

Shake the inhaler, remove its cap and fit it into the rubber end of the spacer. Breathe out gently, seal your lips around the mouthpiece, press the inhaler once and breathe in slowly and deeply; hold your breath for 5-10 seconds (or take 4-5 normal breaths through the spacer for children). One puff at a time. Wait 30 seconds between puffs. Wash weekly in mild soapy water and air-dry without rinsing or towel-drying.

Rinse the mouth after steroid inhaler use even with a spacer. Replace the spacer if the valve is damaged or roughly every 6-12 months of daily use.
