Zincat OD is indicated in treatment for childhood diarrhea and zinc deficiency. Zincat Suspension contains Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate as an active ingredient. It works by reducing severity of diarrhea in children and also reduces its recurrence.
Infants 0-6 months: 2 mg/day. Infants 6-12 months: 3 mg/day. Children 1-3 years: 3 mg/day. Children 3-8 years: 5 mg/day. Children 8-13 years: 8 mg/day. Children 13-18 years: 11 mg/day.
Precautions: Before using Zincat Suspension, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.).
