Overview

Zulu Tablets are a combination pain-relief medicine containing aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), together with paracetamol. The two work together to relieve pain and reduce inflammation, making the tablets useful for conditions such as muscle and joint pain, back pain, arthritis, dental pain and other inflammatory aches. By easing both pain and swelling, Zulu helps improve comfort and movement. It is intended for adults under the direction of a doctor or pharmacist. Note: this brand is available in several variants (including ES and SP formulations), so confirm the exact strength on the pack.

Active ingredients (base variant): Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 500 mg per tablet. Variants such as Zulu-ES (with esomeprazole) and Zulu-SP (with serratiopeptidase) also exist.

Directions for Use

Take as directed by your doctor or pharmacist, usually one tablet up to twice daily, swallowed whole with water and preferably with or after food to protect the stomach. Leave adequate time between doses and do not exceed the prescribed amount. Do not take with other paracetamol- or NSAID-containing products. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed, and confirm dosing against the specific variant you have been supplied.

Avoid if you are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol, aspirin or other NSAIDs, or have an active stomach ulcer, severe heart, liver or kidney disease, or are in the last three months of pregnancy. Use with caution if you have asthma, high blood pressure or a history of indigestion. Avoid alcohol and do not combine with other paracetamol or NSAID medicines.
