Acyclovir-Denk 200mg Tablets (25 pack) contain aciclovir, the trusted antiviral for herpes simplex infections, made to German quality standards by Denk Pharma. It treats genital herpes (first episodes and recurrences), cold sores, and is used to suppress frequent recurrences, and treats shingles and chickenpox at higher doses. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. A typical herpes simplex treatment dose is 200mg five times daily (every 4 hours while awake) for 5 days; suppression and shingles regimens differ. Follow your prescription exactly. Start as early as possible in an outbreak. Swallow with water, with or without food, and drink plenty of fluids throughout the course.

Generally well tolerated; headache, nausea and rash can occur. Drink adequate fluids. Dehydration increases the small risk of kidney effects, and doses need adjusting in kidney impairment and the elderly. Tell your doctor about kidney disease and all medicines.
