Overview

Alatrol Syrup 60ml contains cetirizine 5mg/5ml, a modern, long-acting antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms with minimal drowsiness compared with older remedies. It treats sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes from allergic rhinitis and hay fever, itchy skin rashes and hives (urticaria), and allergic reactions to dust, pollen and pet dander. Directions for Use

Measure with the cup or spoon provided. Children 2-6 years: 2.5ml once or twice daily (or as a pharmacist advises). Children 6-12 years: 5ml once or twice daily. Adults and over-12s: 10ml once daily, usually in the evening. May be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the stated dose. See a doctor if symptoms persist beyond a week.

Generally low-sedating, but can cause drowsiness in some. Observe your response before driving, and avoid alcohol. Not for children under 2 except on medical advice.
