Zyban SR tablets are swallowed whole with water (not crushed or chewed); dosing usually starts once daily then increases to twice daily with doses spaced well apart. Do not take more than prescribed, and avoid taking it close to bedtime to reduce sleep problems.

This is a prescription medicine. It can lower the seizure threshold. Do not use if you have epilepsy/seizures, an eating disorder, or are withdrawing from alcohol or sedatives. Seek urgent help for any mood changes, agitation, depression or thoughts of self-harm. May cause insomnia, dry mouth and headache.
