Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Commonly 1-2 drops into the affected eye every 4 hours, or 2-3 drops into the affected ear three to four times daily. Wash hands first; avoid touching the dropper tip to eye, ear or fingers. Continue for the full prescribed course even as symptoms settle. Discard the bottle 28 days after opening.
Do not use the ear route with a perforated eardrum except on specialist advice. Aminoglycosides can harm hearing. For eye use, vision may blur briefly after instillation. Wait before driving. Remove contact lenses during treatment of eye infections. Stop and seek review if pain, swelling or discharge worsens, or if there is no improvement in 2-3 days. Prolonged use can encourage resistant organisms or fungal overgrowth. Store below 30°C; do not share the bottle.
