Pharmadexone Eye Drops 5ml contain dexamethasone, a corticosteroid eye drop used to calm significant eye inflammation. After eye surgery, in uveitis and iritis, and in severe allergic eye disease. Strictly under the direction of an eye specialist. Dexamethasone rapidly suppresses inflammation, easing pain, redness and light sensitivity while the underlying condition is managed.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Shake well if directed and instil the prescribed drops at the frequency your eye doctor sets. Often starting frequently and tapering down; never stop abruptly from intensive regimens without advice. Wash hands first, avoid touching the tip to the eye, and press the inner corner after instilling. Space other eye drops 5 minutes apart. Remove contact lenses before use.

Steroid eye drops must be supervised. Prolonged use can raise eye pressure (glaucoma), cause cataracts and worsen undiagnosed infections, especially herpes. Use only for the prescribed duration, with pressure checks for longer courses. Report eye pain, worsening redness, discharge or vision change promptly. Do not use with untreated eye infections.
