Overview

Clobederm Cream 10g contains clobetasol propionate 0.05%, a super-potent topical corticosteroid for short-term treatment of severe, stubborn steroid-responsive skin conditions. Resistant psoriasis plaques, lichen planus, discoid lupus and severe eczema. When weaker steroids have failed. Among dermatology's most powerful topical anti-inflammatories, used strictly under medical direction.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Apply a thin film to the affected areas only, once or twice daily exactly as prescribed, rubbing in gently. Courses are strictly short (typically up to 2 weeks, limited weekly amounts). Respect your doctor's limits precisely. Wash hands after use. Do not cover with dressings unless directed.

Never use on the face, groin, armpits or broken skin unless specifically directed. Overuse thins skin, causes stretch marks and can suppress the body's own steroid production. Strict course limits exist for good reason. Not for infected skin without concurrent treatment, acne or rosacea, and not for children, pregnancy or breastfeeding without specialist advice. Avoid abrupt cessation after prolonged large-area use. Rebound flares occur. Report worsening or non-healing skin.
