It is used to treat skin conditions where inflammation occurs alongside fungal and/or bacterial infection. Such as infected eczema or dermatitis, and fungal infections with secondary infection. Betamethasone reduces inflammation and itching, clotrimazole clears fungal infection, and gentamicin tackles bacterial infection. This 20g cream is used by patients under a doctor's guidance.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Apply a thin layer to the affected area, usually twice daily, and rub in gently. Use for the shortest course needed (typically up to one to two weeks). Wash hands after applying, unless treating the hands. Do not use under airtight dressings unless advised.
This is a prescription medicine containing a steroid, antibiotic and antifungal. For short-term use only. Avoid the face, eyes and skin folds unless advised, and do not use on large areas or for long periods, as the steroid can thin the skin and be absorbed, and overuse of the antibiotic can cause resistance or sensitisation. Stop and seek advice if the condition worsens. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. Store in a cool, dry place. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
