Overview

Trimicon Cream is a combination skin cream used to treat inflamed skin conditions complicated by infection. Combination creams of this kind typically pair an antifungal with an antibacterial and a mild steroid, so they tackle a fungal or bacterial skin infection while the steroid calms the accompanying redness, itching and swelling. They are used for itchy, inflamed rashes in skin folds, fungal infections with marked inflammation, and similar mixed skin problems. Because brand formulations vary, the exact active ingredients should be confirmed from the packaging or with your pharmacist before use. A doctor- or pharmacist-guided option for inflamed, infection-prone skin . Confirm composition on the pack.

Combination skin cream. Typically an antifungal with an antibacterial and a mild corticosteroid. Active ingredients not verified; confirm exact composition on the product packaging before use.

Directions for Use

Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Usually a thin layer applied to the affected skin once or twice daily for the limited period advised. Wash and dry your hands and the area before applying, and rub in gently. Because it contains a steroid, do not use it for long periods or on large areas unless directed. Complete the course advised for the infection, and confirm the exact instructions on the packaging.

Confirm the ingredients with your pharmacist before use. Steroid-containing creams should be used short-term. Prolonged or excessive use can thin the skin, and using a steroid on an untreated infection can make it worse. Avoid the eyes and broken skin. Tell your doctor if the rash does not improve or spreads. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice and on small areas. Store below 25°C.
