Overview

Duofilm is a paint-on treatment for common warts and verrucas (foot warts), combining salicylic acid with lactic acid in a quick-drying solution. The two acids work together to gradually soften and peel away the hard, built-up skin of the wart layer by layer, helping to clear it over a few weeks of regular use while the body's immune system tackles the underlying virus. It is for everyday warts on the hands and verrucas on the feet, not warts on the face or genitals. A trusted, easy-to-apply home treatment helping people clear stubborn warts and verrucas.

Actives: Salicylic acid with lactic acid in a film-forming (collodion) base. Confirm exact strengths on the pack.

Directions for Use

Use as directed on the label. Usually once daily. First soak the wart or verruca in warm water for a few minutes and gently rub the surface with an emery board or pumice (kept only for this use). Dry well, then apply a small drop of the solution to cover just the wart, avoiding the surrounding healthy skin, and let it dry to a film. Repeat daily; treatment often takes several weeks to up to 12 weeks. Be patient and consistent.

For external use on common warts and verrucas only. Do not use on the face, genitals, moles, birthmarks or hairy warts, or on irritated or infected skin. Protect the surrounding healthy skin (it can be applied around the wart with petroleum jelly). It is flammable. Keep away from flame. People with diabetes or poor circulation should see a doctor before treating foot verrucas. Stop if marked irritation occurs. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice.
