Directions for Use

Shake well before use. Take the dose stated on the product packaging, measured with the cup or spoon provided, usually once daily, or as advised by your healthcare provider. Best taken with or after food, with vitamin C-rich foods/juice to aid iron absorption. Avoid taking at the same time as tea, coffee or dairy. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Iron can cause stomach upset, constipation or dark stools, and the syrup may temporarily stain the teeth. Rinse the mouth after taking. Do not exceed the recommended dose; iron overdose is dangerous, especially for children. Keep well out of their reach. Take other medicines and iron a couple of hours apart. Persistent or unexplained anaemia should be investigated by a doctor. Use in pregnancy on advice. People with diabetes should note any sugar content. Store in a cool, dry place.
