Rhinathiol adult sugar free syrup contains Carbocisteine 2mg/5mls. It is recommended for diabetic adults in Kenya who have a difficulty in coughing up sputum.
Dosage/Direction for Use: Rhinathiol Adult: Adults and Children >15 years: 1 tablespoonful 3 times daily. Duration of Treatment: 5 days.
Contraindications: History of hypersensitivity to one of the components (particularly to parabens). Gastroduodenal ulceration. Infants <2 years, as there is a risk of worsening the airway congestion.
