Panpure (20 mg) is a proton-pump inhibitor, prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, and erosive esophagitis. It decreases the amount of acid made in the stomach. Panpure is used to treat erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD) in adults and children who are at least 5 years old. Panpure is usually given for up to 8 weeks at a time while your esophagus heals. Panpure is also used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other conditions involving excess stomach acid. Panpure is not for immediate relief of heartburn.
Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. Dosage and length of treatment are based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
The drug should not be used by breastfeeding women, as evidences from studies have shown that there is a high risk of causing significant damage to infants The following information is for educational aid only.
