Plendil 10mg tablets contain Felodipine 10mg which is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and chest pain (Angina). Plendil 10mg tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Plendil tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
It should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Common side effects include Fatigue, Sleepiness, Ankle swelling, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Headache, Nausea, Dizziness, Palpitations, Edema (swelling), Abdominal pain.
