Orgametril contains lynestrenol, a substance similar to the natural hormone progesterone. Progesterone-like substances such as those in Orgametril are often prescribed for disorders of the menstrual cycle. In addition, Orgametril can be prescribed: -in addition to estrogen therapy during or after menopause. -in the treatment of cancer of the uterine lining. -in endometriosis (a condition of proliferating uterine lining outside the uterus). -to suppress ovulation (ovulation) or menstruation. -to delay menstruation.
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Dosage: For menstrual cycle disorders and some other disorders, the recommended dosage 1 or 2 tablets per day from the 14th day to the 25th day of the cycle. The first day of the cycle is the first day of menstruation. As a rule, too much or prolonged blood loss 2 tablets per day prescribed for 10 days. In the treatment of some other conditions, Orgametril must be taken for a long time taken daily. There is no monthly tablet-free period.
Do not take this medicine: -you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant. -if you have severe liver disease such as jaundice, inflammation of the liver (hepatitis), a growth in the liver or the rare liver diseases Rotor syndrome and Dubin-Johnson syndrome, or your liver has not fully recovered from such a serious condition. -you have unexpected bleeding from the vagina. -you have certain conditions that occur during pregnancy or during previous hormone use have occurred or got worse; namely: jaundice, severe itching, rash in the form of vesicles (herpes gestationis), a metabolic disease of the liver (porphyria) or a hereditary form of deafness (otosclerosis).
